Junior Content Creator (m/f/d) - ab in den urlaub

Introduction

Your mission is to create inspiring and useful travel content that helps our customers discover destinations, find the right holiday offers and move from inspiration to booking.
As a Junior Content Creator, you will develop your skills across editorial content, landing pages, SEO and marketing campaigns while working closely with experienced colleagues from Content, SEO, Marketing and Product.
This is a hands-on entry-level role for someone who loves writing, is curious about digital marketing and travel, and wants to grow into a professional content role. At ab in den urlaub, our motto is simple: We bring sunshine into people’s lives.

Your tasks

  • Content Creation: Research and write German-language travel content – from articles and destination guides to landing pages and promotional copy for campaigns and other digital touchpoints.
  • SEO & Content Optimization: Support topic and keyword research and apply SEO basics such as search intent, headlines, page structure, metadata and internal linking.
  • CMS & Content Maintenance: Publish and maintain content in our CMS, format copy and select suitable images and relevant travel offers. Keep existing content accurate and up to date.
  • Quality & Collaboration: Proofread content, help ensure a consistent tone of voice and work closely with Content, SEO, Marketing and Product. Use feedback actively to continuously improve your work.
  • Performance & Development: Learn step by step how performance data, user behavior and conversion insights can help you create more effective content.

Your profile

  • Experience & Background: You bring 1–2 years of experience in Marketing, Content, E-Commerce or a comparable environment. A specific degree is not required.
  • Writing Skills: You enjoy writing clear, engaging copy and pay close attention to spelling, grammar, accuracy and tone of voice.
  • Digital Know-how: Initial knowledge of SEO, digital marketing or content management systems is a plus. More importantly, you are curious to understand how Content, SEO, campaigns and conversion work together in e-commerce.
  • Way of Working & Collaboration: You work in a structured and reliable way, are open to feedback and bring curiosity and a willingness to learn.
  • Languages: You write German at native-speaker level and have good written and spoken English skills.
  • Nice to have: Experience with or an interest in image and video content is a plus.
