Introduction

Your mission is to create and optimise digital content that turns travel inspiration into action and helps our customers find and book the right holiday.
You will take ownership of landing pages, campaigns and editorial formats and combine excellent German-language writing with SEO, user behaviour and commercial thinking. Using performance insights, you will continuously improve content, messaging and page experience.
This is a hands-on role at the interface of Content, SEO, Marketing and Product, with real ownership from brief to publication and optimisation. At ab in den urlaub, our motto is: We bring sunshine into people’s lives.

Your tasks

  • Content Creation & Landing Pages: You conceptualize, create and publish landing pages and content for SEO topics, promotions, editorial formats and marketing campaigns, and implement them independently in our CMS.
  • SEO & Conversion: You use keyword research, search intent and on-page SEO to optimize copy, page structure, offers and calls to action with a clear focus on user behavior and conversion.
  • Performance & Optimization: You analyze the performance of your content and derive concrete improvements for content, offers and the user experience.
  • Project Management & Collaboration: You manage your topics from briefing to publication and work closely with Content, SEO, Marketing, Product and other stakeholders.
  • Quality & Development: You ensure a high level of content quality, share your learnings with the team and continuously improve content and ways of working.

Your profile

  • Experience: You bring several years of hands-on experience in content creation, content marketing, editorial work, digital marketing or a comparable role – ideally in e-commerce.
  • SEO & Conversion: You have a solid understanding of SEO, search intent, keyword research and content optimization and know how content and page structure influence user behavior.
  • Content & CMS: You are confident writing for different digital formats and target groups and work comfortably with content management systems.
  • Ownership & Collaboration: You work in a structured way, set clear priorities and communicate effectively across teams and functions.
  • Languages: You write German at native-speaker level and have good written and spoken English skills.
  • Nice to have: Experience with image or video content is a plus.
